I am a Registered Dietitian and an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner.
I educate individuals how to live a healthy lifestyle through real food and a healthy realistic mindset. Real food meaning no diet foods, no artificial sugars, just food in their pure form. And a realistic mindset meaning no restrictions, no dieting (unless therapeutically necessary) and also promoting culturally appropriate foods. This means enjoying foods from your heritage, foods from your childhood and foods that make your soul healthy. When we avoid these types of foods, we are depriving ourselves from our culture.
I am also a big advocate about environmental issues and health. As a farmer, I do not take lightly the impact of our food system on our planet and health. I write and talk a lot of environmental nutrition and the symbiotic relationship between agriculture and human and planetary health. We are not disconnected from nature, but we are living like we are, which is making us sick.
Please enjoy some of my writings about nutrition and my book. I am also in the process of creating a course about the building blocks of health and how to achieve balance.
